BAF-31
Peracid bleaching system is an eco-friendly bleaching system and fabric disinfecting system which can be incorporated in your powdered detergent formulation that can be used to bleach fabrics at low temperatures found in the Indian laundry market. It is a colour safe bleaching system and is effective in different fabric types.
Properties
In this system Peracid is generated insitu, within the wash liquor. It comprises two components which react in the wash liquor namely 1. Hydrogen peroxide generating chemicals (sodium percarbonate, sodium perborate, Sodium persulfate etc) and 2. Bleach Activators (e.g. Tetraacetylethylenediamine i.e TAED and Sodium nonanoyloxybenzenesulfonate i.e. NOBS). These bleach activators along with hydrogen peroxide generating chemicals are used extensively in all common detergent powder formulation of major national and multinational companies.
Our revolutionary peracid generating system BAF-31, uses a synergistic system of stabilized activator which along with sodium percarbonate generates comparable quantities ofperacid (TAED based system) at ambient temperature. Optimum peracid is generated at a pH range of 9-10 generally found in soda ash buffered detergent formulation. In general it is considered colour safe for both cotton/linen/wool and synthetic fabrics.
